I recently stayed at the Gramercy Park Hotel, and while the location was superb, I was disappointed with the overall experience. The hotel features beautiful architecture and decor, but my room was quite small and showed signs of wear. The service was friendly, yet there were significant delays in getting drinks and dealing with other inquiries, which really detracted from my stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in felt a bit cramped and was showing signs of age, including faded carpets and a chipped bathroom tile. While it did have a bathtub, the overall condition of the room was not up to my expectations for a hotel of this caliber.
Service
6.0
The staff were warm and friendly, but the service was inconsistent. I experienced long waits for both check-in and bar service, which left me feeling somewhat frustrated during my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, nestled in a quiet square near Gramercy Park, yet still close enough to explore other areas of Manhattan easily. It made for a pleasant base to explore the city.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were available, but I found the hours were not very accommodating, especially for a high-end hotel. I had hoped for a greater variety and flexibility with meal times.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel has several desirable facilities, I found that some were not fully functioning as expected. For example, it took too long to get room service, and basic amenities were not as accessible as they should have been.

Overall, my stay at Gramercy Park Hotel was impressive due to the excellent service and the beautiful surroundings. The attentive staff truly made me feel welcomed, and the access to the private Gramercy Park garden was a good bonus. However, I did encounter a few challenges with room service and a crowded bar area during peak times.

Rooms

I enjoyed the stylish interiors and comfortable ambiance of my room, though it was on the smaller side for a longer stay.

The staff, especially Chen, provided really good service with genuine warmth. I appreciated their attention and responsiveness throughout my stay.
Location
7.0
The hotel is in a vibrant neighborhood close to great shops and restaurants, making it convenient to explore the city. However, the bar area can get quite busy, making it difficult to grab a drink at times.

I had an lovely stay at Gramercy Park Hotel. The staff treated me like royalty, especially Joy at the concierge who helped with a surprise for my mom's birthday. However, I noticed the rooms could use brighter lighting—they felt a bit dark for my taste.

Rooms
6.0
Although the room was stylish and comfortable, I found it exceptionally dark and could use brighter lighting for a more inviting atmosphere.
Service
10.0
The service was out of this world, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was special. From the valet to the concierge, they were friendly and on point.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, with easy access to all of Manhattan. Plus, being near the private Gramercy Park is such a unique bonus!
Dining
8.0
Dining at Maialino was a delight, but I think meal costs should be included in the rates since they add up quickly. Still, the food was delicious!
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like room service were quick and reliable, but some additional charges weren't explained clearly, which was a bit disappointing.

I enjoyed my stay at the Gramercy Park Hotel, especially because of its beautiful vintage decor and modern art atmosphere. The location was fantastic, providing a less touristy vibe while remaining close to major attractions. However, I faced some challenges with service, particularly when I needed an extra umbrella and was disappointed with the bar access. Overall, it was a nice experience, but there were a few hiccups.

Rooms
10.0
The room was spacious, stylishly decorated, and incredibly comfortable, making for a relaxing retreat during my stay.
Service

While the cleaning staff were really good, I found the service at the front desk lacking when it came to accommodating simple requests like borrowing an umbrella.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location next to Gramercy Park was perfect, offering a serene escape while still being conveniently located near Central Park and SoHo.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were a bit disappointing; the breakfast timings were inconvenient and not clearly communicated while I was there.
Facilities

The hotel offers great facilities like quick room service and a lively bar atmosphere, though access was limited during private events.

My stay at Gramercy Park Hotel was a mixed bag. The unique decor and artistic vibe wrapped around me like a cozy blanket, but I did run into some issues with service. While the location is lovely, and I enjoyed access to the private Gramercy Park garden, I also faced some challenges, especially with the dining experience. Overall, it's charming but has its rough edges.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a unique blend of vintage charm and modern art, making them stylish and comfortable, though I noticed a strong cigarette smell that was quite off-putting.
Service
6.0
The staff were mostly warm and welcoming, but I did encounter some rudeness from the bartenders that really took away from the experience.
Location
9.0
Located in a gorgeous area with Gramercy Park right across the street, it’s a peaceful retreat from the typical NYC hustle but still close to great restaurants and bars.
Dining
5.0
Dining was frustrating with slow service, especially at breakfast when I waited over an hour for coffee. I expected more from a hotel at this price point.
Facilities
6.0
Having access to the private garden was a fantastic perk, plus the room service was quick, but the dining experience didn’t meet my expectations.
